I think this is an easy one... family and health for me. reading threads from XPANDA and the fact she is going thru cancer remission makes you really think what is important. It seems When people are faced with those life and death things it all gets magnified on whats really importnat

Family and health, no question about it. Sometimes we can lose sight of the important things, getting caught up in the daily grind. However, if we remind ourselves each day of the important things, such as family and health, it can help ground us.

100% Family and friends. That includes alot of people here at TheRx. No matter how shitty things are going if I sit down and talk with family, or come on here, it usually helps brighten the day.

For today: spending the morning cleaning the house car, writing an e-mail to a woman I know and mega-doses of caffeine

I'm grateful for the many years I have left to get things right. But I don't have cancer, Dante. My condition causes benign, very slow-growing tumours, thankfully.

One poster in my initial thread where I told the forum about my diagnosis said that I'm strong and that he 'feels sorry for those tumours'. I forget now who said it, but I'm very grateful for that line as I repeated it to myself most every day. And so I am also grateful for hope, and those that helped me to stay positive.

Definately health and family, would also add friends.
Once your health is in serious jeopardy or you lose a loved one, that really puts anything else into perspective...but as sad as it may have been, I needed to go through these things to finally straighten out my values...

Family and friends. Losing my father 3 years ago helped to bring it home for me.

I love poetry, and a glass of scotch, and, of course, my friend Baxter here.
