SACRAMENTO, Calif.

Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins was barred from the team's flight to Phoenix after a locker room altercation with teammate Donte Greene, The Sacramento Bee reported Sunday.

Cousins was angered not to have got a touch in the final seconds of the last play, which ended with Tyreke Evans missing a 3-pointer, in the 99-97 defeat to Oklahoma City on Saturday night and called Greene out after the game.
The pair traded words and needed to be separated. Greene had insisted to reporters that Cousins was not open during the play, a view supported by Kings coach Paul Westphal.

The result was Cousins staying in Sacramento.

A team spokesman said Kings president Geoff Petrie would make a decision Sunday whether to suspend the center, who has been fined and thrown out of practice twice during his rookie season for unwelcome comments around the team.

But he added that the 20 year old could still join his teammates in Phoenix later Sunday.

Not sure if you've watched enough Kings games or not Betallsports (since they are shit and west coast), but this rookie has got to be the biggest baby on the court I've ever seen. Always bitching and complaining about ref calls/non-calls, this was only a matter of time. This guy doesn't look like he'll grow up either.

Cousins appears to be the Albert Haynesworth of the NBA. The guy just doesn't seem to be at a high maturity level.

I have feeling this guy is going to have a major of court issue as well. Isn't just his attitude about calls, he just appears to be angry guy.

I agree btd, I can definately see him inside a court room within the next 5 years but I dont see him as an angry kid, just one that has never been told no in his life.

You are probably right about him not being angry, but rather someone who doesn't handle adversity well.
