I am predicting the Phillies wont lose 4 in a row all year . Maybe a sportsbook can make odds on it

cant see them losing more than 3 in a row at any point..

would be something if they never had a 3 game losing streak all year.

yeah, barring miracle, it will happen...they are gonna be good, but bats go cold, injuries, rsting starters, etc...they'll hit a short skid at some point

Well then, go get a loan for 5k and chase bet them all season trying to win 100.00 every game. You're gonna have to lay the wood sometimes, but if they win 100+ you'll be up 10k.

i believe i said 4 .

do you think they win 100 games + ?

I realize that you were replying to BB, but I'll jump in. I'll take as much action on the Phillies losing 4 in a row as you want to lay. As for 100 games, I would say yes, however, they are in the NL East and it won't be as easy as it may seem. Remember they lost Jason Werth which was a big loss IMHO. I think the Giants, in a weak NL West, cruise past 100 wins easily.

The greatest team of my lifetime, the 1998 Yankees, OPENED up the year dropping their first three games, didn't lose four in a row until late august.

Really, the key is the health of the players. Halladay, Lee, Oswalt and Hamels are not likely to make every start and then key players have nagging injuries throughout the season. Losing 4 in a row isn't very many if the team is hurting or goes through a bit of a slump. It's a long season and anything can happen.

I'm expecting the Giants to cruise through the NL West and easily pass 100 wins, as they only had 92 last year I believe, but that being said, it depends on the health and affectiveness of the team as a whole. Looking for a Giants/Phillies showdown once again for the pennant.

Good question. Really would be a guess on my part:

Will lose 4 in a row: -150
Won't lose 4 in a row: +120

2001 Mariners went to late September before losing four straight, get this, before that, they didn't even lose three straight.
