COLUMBUS, Ohio — An Ohio teen has died days after police say he was shot by his older brother in front of shoppers after a dispute inside an Apple store.
Columbus police said in a news release that 15-year-old Andrake Kelley died at a hospital on Wednesday.
Police said he received a single gunshot wound to the head Saturday night at the popular Easton Town Center mall.
Police charged 16-year-old Andrew Kelley with a delinquency count of felonious assault earlier this week. They now say prosecutors will consider amending the charge, given his brother's death.
A message for comment was left for Kelley's attorney on Thursday.
Police say the shooting in an outdoor area of the shopping center followed some sort of dispute at the mall's Apple store.
