Personal Rules for Sports Wagering

What are some of your personal rules for sports wagering? can be anything from money management to never betting personal favorite teams, not playing parlays ect ect.

The one rule ive done well over the years , is Ive never chased by betting outrages amounts after a loss. Always keep to my normal amounts and try getting it back that way.

Would be interested in reading some rules that some of you have made for yourselves that you try and stick with.@)

Never ever wager when drunk, dont deviate on your strategy, and eventually chase. To be honest, chasing and sticking to the original strategy is freaking hard to resist. Being a compulsive gambler is a disease that isnt easy to cure.

I've always tried to limit the number of bets I have on a single event - all the mistakes I made when I began sports betting /w my local involved teasing 5 ways with a single side or total in each bet, or teasing and AR'ing the same team/side. Just awful bets, unless you've been limited.

Its funny you mention this , i have a buddy who does this, doesnt make sense when you can stream any game anyway.

#1, I never drink and gamble ( well Drink something that will get me Drunk )
My norm is anything Tequila, but if I'm gambling... it will be a few Beers
or in a Casino, it will be Kahlua & Cream, or baileys on the Rocks.

#2, I Never bet a TV game, Just because it's on TV.
