It's official, I *really* like this guy.
He's too good for ESPN.
The game is never about him, calls the game without the hype or fluff.
My God, this guy is good.

Agree! It's all about basketball with him. Great analyst IMHO!

He's usually the analyst on the SEC big games but he's doing a great job today in Washington/Arizona game, teams (i.e. Pac 10), he rarely sees.

You can tell he's always well prepared.

He used to call all those Falcon games for years when they sucked.

Always liked Nessler.

Not as good as Gus Johnson. Gus is the man.

Hell yeah!

Nessler has *always* been my favorite, not even a close 2nd. Him and Blackledge for an SEC night game bring as much joy to my life as anything else in this world...

They are complete opposites. Gus Johnson sucks, because he always feels his presence should be a part of the broadcast. Nessler makes the game the most important thing. Hes old school, like Enberg was.

Exactly.

Gus is alright sometimes (I actually enjoyed him during that Xavier/KSU game last year), but a lot of the times he's just over the top.

If ESPN ever got Nessler, Blackledge, and Herbstreit all together to do games I think I'd DVR every game they did just so I could come along and watch them in the summer.

Nessler is always great to listen to. Gus Johnson should be used as much as can be in March. He makes all games seem like the loser is out for the year.
