Dusty Baker Tells Shocking Story: 'Somebody Took A Dump Right Where I Stood'
Posted: 02/22/11 05:37 PM
Before managing the Cincinnati Reds, Dusty Baker was the Chicago Cubs skipper from 2003 to 2006. After the Cubs went 66-96, Baker was fired.
On Monday, the 61-year-old told Jon Paul Morosi of Fox Sports a shocking story about what happened on his last day as the Cubs manager.
"At the very end, somebody took a dump right where I stood in the dugout every day," Baker said. "That was the low point. The grounds crew guy cleaned it up. He said, 'Oh, I think it's dog crap.' I said, 'No it ain't. That's human crap.'"
Baker also said it was the first time he told that story publicly. He does not know who desecrated the dugout.
