Firefox: You might be able to stop this by disabling third party cookies.

This site provides instructions on how to disable third party cookies in Firefox:
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Disa…
Whether this actually works, I don't know. I don't have third party cookies disabled.

IE.x
1. Go into Tools
2. Click on "Internet Options"
3. Click on "Security" tab
4. Click on "Restricted Sites"
5. Click "Sites"
6. Type in the following two sites:

http://ads.bluelithium.com
http://ad.yieldmanager.com

also .. turn on pop-up blocker ,, settings "High"
check the "Allowed Sites" remove any unwanted sites.

maybe some help

Download and do a full scan with AntiMalwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware. You definitely have something on there that is redirecting your browser.

bluelithium.com: is an "acquired" Yahoo advertising outfit.
Requires "Opt out" from Yahoo's "matched advertising" /privacy invasion tactics.

Go here : http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/yahoo/details.html
& look for "opt out" link on page, then follow the prompts.

Yahoo is pulling a good one on everyone.
As a matter of some changes on their system, they have kindly reset everyone's marketing preferences.
So,when you signed into Yahoo for a Yahoo ID, you were given a chance to set what sort of notices you wanted yahoo advertisers to send to you, well, they just set EVERYTHING to Yes for you.

To change this ... Go to your Account Information screen (for each and every ID you have) and about mid screen you will see "Edit Your Marketing Preferences" link. Click on it and set them back to the way you want them, otherwise get ready for *LOTS* of advertising spam type emails from Yahoo's advertisers. Note also at the bottom, that you will be marked YES for 'By US Mail' and 'By Phone' as well."
