I've never seen such an operation that has NO CLUE what's going on in the real world.

Somehow my name pops up on a fraud report which I can't seem to get the name of yet. But SIA gets this report....at least two months after Bookmaker.....shows how sharp they are......and they've been making me jump through hoops since then.

Rather than use their brains and common sense, they choose to believe a report even though they've been dealing with me for 9+ years, and has NEVER had a problem with any deposit I've made. No one else has either.

When they asked me for documentation, at first I balked thinking they had dealt with me for 9 years...why now? But then they explained about this fraud report, so I sent them all the documentation they asked for. However, even though they let me bet sports, play in their casino, and even make Visa deposits, these morons suspend my poker account. How do you figure that one.

So after sending in my documents, they review them for 3 weeks....3 weeks mind you....and send me an email saying everything is OK. But they still neglect to open my poker account. FINALLY, they return from their weekend and turn back on my poker account.

So I'm ready to enter a tournament and I want to make a deposit. When I click on the Visa option, it's no longer available to me. WHY? They had all the documentation needed. They already certified my account. What the hell were they thinking?

Problem with this company is that their security department won't talk to anyone. Everything goes through their customer service department and then they contact security for you. I've asked them to give me the name of this supposed fraud report, and they don't even have the courtesy to come back with a name. I'll leave it in my lawyers hands after this.

I just emailed them to close my account and destroy any and all faxes or email scans that I've sent to them recently. It used to be that SIA was a needed out if you bet the underdogs, but that option has disappeared over the last three years. You can't even buy a half point if you want to at their site. I've offered these bozos my account numbers at 20 other books so I can get this thing cleared up. I've even offered to bet them $10,000 to prove there's EVER been any fraud at any book I've ever dealt with. These morons won't even come back with an answer other than my Visa option is closed. Well now, so is my account.

I'd be a little weary dealing with someone who got their name on a fraud list too. How the heck did you manage that anyway? Any clue how to get your name cleared?

Bagiant: You would want to go here http://www.iovation.com/

(I have nothing to do with SIA but know enough about how these things work to offer you this information).

Jake when you offer someone EVERYTHING they ask of you, and even offer you account numbers at all books I deal with so they can call them, I've got nothing to hide.

You'd think that if they valued me as a customer and didn't want to give me the name of the report where I was named, that they'd at least have the courtesy to call up that company themselves and ask them for the details of the fraud. Like, "Hey, we've got a customer really bitching because his name is on this fraud report. Any chance there's a mistake, and maybe he could contact you ?" That would seem fair to me. A person that committed fraud would curl up and go away and not cause a stink like I am doing.

All I want to do is get the facts from this company and make this go away.

Bag, you can buy points on the site. You just have to go through their outdated software to do it. If you go into the more betting option drop down menus then that is where you can buy the points.

Their software SUCKS big time as they dont even list the games in rotation order. They list them by start time and alphabetically by the visiting team. :ohno:

But in saying that, they do pay and isnt that what this game is all about?

Just another book to not deal with since Neteller isn't an option and they don't transfer with anybody.

There are less than 5 good books for Americans, 2 really

After telling SIA to cash me out and close my account, as well as destroy all the documents I sent them, here's the email that I just got today.

Dear Robert,

Thank you for your continued patience.

As per our Security Department your deposit methods have been fully restored. You may now deposit using all options available to you including Credit Card.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. Note that our helpful FAQ/Knowledge Base can be found at: www.sportsinteraction.com/sportsbook/kb

...So is everything resolved with them now?

It does sound like it was a hassel, but as Jake said, if your name is on a fraud report, I can't blame them for exercising caution.

Yes everything is fine now if I decide to keep playing there.

But if your name is on a fraud report, but you've never committed fraud, there should be some way to correct it like if there's a mistake on your credit report.

i'm confused..fraud report..how and why and where do they get this

apparently there's a company around that supplies the books with a service to help them avoid dealing with customers that commit fraud. Things like charge backs on CC,
opening up duel accounts etc. I guess they are similar to the credit reporting agencies.
