Anyone watching the combine right now?

Carimi puts up a 5.12 in the 40 for the OL. Not too bad for a 320 pound man.

Might be boring to some but I like it for some reason.

But damn, this Ryan Bartholomew from Syracuse runs a 4.9 and benches 225 34 times. That's very impressive for a big man.

That Oregon St. DT Paea really helped himself today. Guy puts up 225 49 for a combine record and may have put himself in the first round. Some others that helped themselves.

Julio Jones ran a 4.39 in the 40.
Jake Locker ran a 4.59 in the 40 (better than Cam Newton). He finished first in the cones and threw very accurate. All accounts have the scouts really, really impressed with what they saw.
Mark Ingram only ran a 4.62 even though I really don't think it's a big deal.
Nick Fairly showed up at 6'3 292 and I guess that's kind of small for a DT. Usually they like around 6'5 and 300 bills.
Ryan Mallett looked calm and threw great which helped.
Cam Newton completed only 50% of his passes against no defense which really raised some eyebrows.

I've always liked Julio Jones. I just think there's concern over his durability. I'd take a shot on him after AJ Green is gone.

there are guys that post here that can do that, so thats not that impressive, haven't you read the bench press thread? some bench 300 but only 8 reps....lol..

I'm sure those guys could compete in the combine at a high level as well LOL.
