Guy is tearing it up again today. Just a pure shooter. A guy like him only comes around once or twice a decade. That being said, they haven't had much success in the NBA recently. How do you see this guy doing?

DANNY AINGE will be pulling the trigger..........

Looking forward to seeing him having many successful seasons in the green and white.

This weeks Celtics trade is making more and more sense every hour..........what a great trade by the executive of the year, DANNY AINGE.

I think He will be middle of the road type. He is too fragile to become a big star and defender. JMHO

No doubt the kid is a hell of a player, but I think that he's going to struggle finding his place in the NBA due to his size. I see him doing a notch better than Reddick, who he is much more skilled than.

Jimmer Fredette is more skilled than Reddick? Are you serious?

Two time ACC player of the year, all time ACC and NCAA leader in three pointers made and 2nd all time in the ACC behind Hansbrough in points scored. That is better than Jordan, Vince Carter, Grant Hill, Christian Laettner and so on and so forth.

Guy dominated the NCAA's best basketball conference and Fredette dominates the Mountain West. Now he's betting around 26:00 per game and averaging some points. Always in the end of the game for Orlando and contributing.

I'll root for Fredette but to say he's more skilled than JJ Reddick is very far fetched.

funny thing I was thinking the same thing. Now Rex was a solid role player for years who would have excelled in the right environments.Great shooter man. I loved it when he was with the Heat

Fredette's better at dribble penetration and creating his own shot than Reddick, Fredette's offensive game is much more dynamic and diverse. Hansbrough is probably one of the top 10-20 collegiate players of all-time, yet in the NBA there's probably currently over 50 big men you would choose ahead of him if you were starting a team.

I guess you watch a different NCAAB game than I do or you didn't watch Reddick play CBB. He's not better off the dribble or creating his own shot...no way. Reddick did it against the best players in CBB while Fredette does it against UNLV and SDSU. More dynamic and diverse? What does that mean?

Reddick is one of the best CBB players in the history of the game (not close to the top 10 of course) but his CBB game was a lot better than Fredette IMO.

if you think JJ Reddick is better off the dribble than Jimmer Fredette then we clearly haven't watched the same basketball.

I think Fredette is way better off the dribble personally. It's tough to compare because of the level of competition I suppose. Fredette sure looks like he is more developed offensively and is better with the ball. Reddick wins in terms of pure shooting.

Tearing it up again ? He was 8 for 23 ! Not what I call tearing it up. He's very good but today He was not tearing it up on offense. I doubt many NBA coaches would want their star shooting in the mid .30's .

It really depends on what team he ends up on. He can handle the ball pretty well and knows how to penetrate. His size will hold him down some as he would be a very good 2 if he was a little taller. It will be tough to put him there at 6'2". Don't know if he can be a solid point guard...

He is more than just a spot shooter though. So he has a chance to make it. If you can't make shot for yourself you can't play NBA... Could see the Knicks wanting him with their coach ans style. The style they play needs guys who can knock down perimeter 3's

This is it in a nutshell. I've heard scouts say if you can't make your own shot/opportunity for points then you won't play in the NBA.
