60 days, 60 hotel stays.....Vegas style

I leave on Wednesday heading West. SHould get into Las Vegas on the 7th or 8th.

I am going to document my first 60 days there in this post. I am going to attempt to not pay for a room, and have most food comped for my first 60 days there, while attepmting to add $5000 to my bankroll for the 2 months.

I am going to do blackjack, video poker, tournaments, coupons and mailers. My wife will be mailing me my offers, I am going to keep my out of state address for some, and get an in state for others to see which one generates the best offers.

If ya want to follow, please do so, if not......at least wish me luck. LOL

I wish you luck man. I've never even had $50,000 in my life. If I did, I couldn't take it to Vegas like you. This should be a fun experience for you. I will definitely check in daily to check your progress. Wow! $50,000. Wow!

I don't plan on losing the 50K, I will be betting Full Kelly, but with the limits I will be playing my (risk of ruin)ROR will be non-existant.

A little information on the games I will play.

Single Deck BJ, a spread of $10-$80, if I can get a way with it. Most of this play will be in Wendover, NV and places along the way. As SD in vegas has pretty much burned up.

Double deck/6 Deck, a spread of $10-$100

All blackjack I will look for penatration of 75%, which it will be tough, I think it is still out there.

Video poker, I will play progressive 9/6 JoB, and DDB Progressive. I will mostly play 25c, but will dabble in some 50c and $1 machines, but the variance can be brutal. Hoping I hit a quick Royal to start off on the right foot.

Most of my play will be from 4am-9am for Video poker, I will scout BJ tables at the same time, but most my BJ will be played at busier time to find more tables to jump in and out of. I am also studying up on low limit Hold'em, I may pittle with that a bit too. Along with 4am-9am I will look for abandoned credits in machines from the out of town drunks.

Use the out of state, once you live in state, they don't mail you shit. When I lived in cali got all kinds of good shit, don't get much in the mail as a local.

He said, she's cool like that...... and he has that type of marriage.

I use to go back and forth to Costa Rica & Panama ... my wife was alright with it, but really didn't like it.
But then again, it was only for a week at a time....Not Months !

I doubt you will last long trying to go 10-80 on SD. Reno rules rob you of a lot of DD's. You might as well stay in Vegas and stick with shoes. You can jump out of a negative shoe easily enough ( or just go take a leak), You have to wait for a new shuffle to join or return to the game. 75% is optomistic. I don't think you'll do too well getting room comps at this level, except at lower end places.

The VP likely won't be that great, you can easily go 50,000 hands without a Royal and then they tax the progressive ones, plus it gets boring as Hell. You won't find much for credits at those hours, too dead. Poker is probably best.

I'd keep your out of state DL ( get a duplicate, you lost your wallet) then turn the dup in for a NV DL, drive on that and keep the old license for hotel promos.

It's gonna be a hustle Doug.

I can get RFB on $10 tables, in all in timing of the wagers is all. I NEVER play for comps. I use to, and I lesson learned....
