Anyone been, how's the gambling?

Spent many days there in various years.

GREAT place to visit.........HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Gambling +EV not nearly as good as once was, but nontheless, don't miss a visit to this area..............great history abounds(MT RUSHMORE just a few miles away) and some fun gaming casinos with decent promotions.

Sounds like you're more interested in gambling but like Fishhead said there are lots of nice places to visit in the Black Hills. I take it you may be driving through on your way to Vegas so the tourist sites are not as good this time of the year compared to the summer.

If anyone is ever there in the summer, take in Reptile Gardens, some old gold mine tours, cave tours, Custer State Park where buffalo roam across the highway and tons more. It's a great place to take a family and to go camping in the summer with all the gentle rolling hills and the pine trees.

It's only a couple hundred miles from Yellowstone. A lot of people take in both parks in one trip.

If you snow ski there are two good places close by. There is quite a bit of live poker. I don't remember a 2 deck hand dealt game or anything for black jack. They just hover over the tables - mostly 6 deck shoe games - totally worried about anybody beating them at black jack. Count the racks about every 30 minutes. It's cold here - zero - guy could freeze his godads off. The dude from Wessington Springs would probably have a good scouting report.
