He mentioned "fireflys" twice, I wouldn't call that a "fetish". My fav. game was "kick the can". My 1st crush Vivian Ludden, 8th grade. Listened to Harry Wismer do all of the Army games in 46 w/Doc & Glen, my heroes, Teddy Ballgame my fav. MLB, fav movie "They Died w/Their Boots On", Errol Flynn. NO drugs anywhere. Miss it sometimes, and yes, dear Mom always there.

We had them in NY .....Back in the day

Like taking bets on flash paper ...........when the cops would come in drop your cigarette in the pile and poof there gone ...........

Or how about taking bets w/ carbon paper so the player got a receipt ...........jeeze ....

now you cant let you kids in the back yard without checking on them every 5 minutes. hell, when we were kids, i left the house at 9am and didnt come home till 9pm. those were the days. today you cant even go out at night. all the fuching nuts out there with guns looking to shoot someone. i went to college for $900 a semester. now its $9000. I wouldnt trade those days for anything. Good luck raising a kid today.

I used to tune into the beginning of "The Rifleman" reruns on Sunday afternoon when I was a kid, then immediately turn it after the cool title scene. The show was terrible, but that opening was awesome.
