Since Matchbook is Gone, Have You Thought About....

....Betmaker? This is CRIS/Bookmakers betting exchange.

I have an account there, but didn't like the fact that almost all offers were about a half point to the "wrong" side of the market. I don't understand this as the players were supposed to "make the market" for bets. Maybe it's because there weren't enough players to establish the lines, and Betmaker was putting in their own offers.

Anyone else have any experience with them?

Haven't played there but I'd trust my money 100% considering they are affiliated with CRIS.

When I got the word that matchbook was gone I checked Betmaker out. Was greatly disappointed in what I found.
1. Practically no liquidity. Most lines didn't even have $100 to offer.
2. Lines were terrible like -193 +161.
3. The lines were the same right before game time as they were when I checked them in the morning and $$ available didn't increase either. Lines didn't get closer together as day went on like matchbook's did.
Was sure hoping for a viable alternative but at present this isn't one.

betmaker = near garbage....unless u have lots of time to see almost no competitive prices......horse exchange has a bit to offer for the degenerate horse fan..

ok garbage a bit strong there! hit my horse paid +260 on track..so I got a bit more at the exchange after the 2% commission...it can help you reduce losses in horses getting slightly better than parimutual prices...but you can get trapped taking very" unlive" horses at times at seemingly attractive odds...
