Age 12 or 13. Sixth grade, maybe seventh. Parents take care of everything. Don't have to worry about girls yet. Play sports with your friends all the time. Still can just be a sports fan without knowing all the bullshit about the players/owners/drugs/cheating/etc. Also, no ulcers from gambling.
Best Year of my life was the first year I was with my now fiance....
I was 23.. had a ton of money (for that age), believe that was the year I hit my biggest bet ever, when I took Giants to win the Super Bowl at like +1700 at start of the playoffs, the year they beat the Pats with that unbelievable helmet catch....
Went on a cruise, went on a bunch of mini vacations... had parties with 15+ close friends 3 out of the 4 weekends of each month... i would relive that year over and over againif I could.
