These guys are suppose to be professionals and this is one regular season game and not the Championship or even the playoffs. The NBA use to be comprised of some pretty tough minded players. Today, there seems to be too many that act like children. Things don't go their way and they start crying? :ohno:

seriously, it's not like they're at the bottom, or they just missed the playoffs. The NBA's full of babies.

Maybe the coach should take them to Lightning/Caps game tomorrow, so they can see how men do it.

Kevin McHale said this a few years back.

"The difference between the players today and the players when I played is, when I played I wanted to kick Lambier's ass the second he walked off the bus, today the players want to meet at center court before and after the game and hug each other"

The Heat won't be fine.

They are three all stars with a crappy bench.
Heat are a trio of inconsistent jump shooters and 8 other guys named Mo.
There are reasons why the Heat can't beat other teams on their level, Heat offense if easy to figure out, have a hard time in a 1/2 court game..........

Look at the Celtics, Lakers, etc. etc.
Celtics have pretty much equally talented three superstars, but a superior bench, plus they play better defense.

Let's do this, let's remove Wade, James and Bosh for seven games.
Now let's remove Pierce, Ray Allen, and Garnett for seven games.

Now take the remaining eight players on each side, play a seven game set, tell me who wins?

If I was a Heat player, I'd be pretty damn pissed at Spolestra for saying whats going on in the locker room.

All he had to say, "yea the guy are obviously hurting right now after that loss" but instead embarrasses them to the media, unintentionally mind you. He just doesn't have it to be a successful coach in this league, from player politics to rotations and game planning.

that how I see it. If I was a coach, yea my 1st though is you pussy you are crying. But really I would be ok with it. If you are crying about something then you are passionate about it. They want to win and are trying their hardest out there. And thats what you want out of your team. I would take that any day over a guy with skills who doesnt care (which seems to be most of the NBA)

You can care without crying. You might cry when something is over -- of course when someone dies, etc., or maybe even if you lose in the playoffs. That's the end. But after a loss in the middle of the season that doesn't have to effect the ultimate goal. It's like they're already mourning the fact that they know they don't have it, that they are giving up.

You don't cry....you stiffen your resolve, you practice harder, you study game tape. You take action. Crying is for a high school kid. Pros crying after a regular season loss? Pathetic.

Team character is built the strongest in the hardest times, with the Heat not closing games and not coming through in the clutch, I am sure it is something they are aware of and come playoff time it will be something they have ironed out. They will be a stronger team from losses like the last one.

Seriously? The only way you can show you care about a regular season loss is by crying? LMFAO.

When Derrick Rose and the Bulls lost a lead to Atlanta and gave the game away, he didn't cry, he said that's unacceptable and it won't happen again....and then he beat Orlando and Miami. You show your passion on the court -- in practice and in games.

The problem with Miami is all of the elite teams (Mavs, Spurs, Lakers, Bulls, Magic, Celtics) have the bigs that can get them buckets when it counts. Miami doesn't. But as an opposing fan, Wade still scares the hell out of me when the game is on the line.

It wouldnt surprise me if this was a real turning point them, develop a chip on their shoulder and ride that attitude right into the playoffs...But at this point it wouldnt surprise me to see them lay down either. Lots of questions still surround this team as a whole, coaching staff included.

All three players have one thing in common, they only get a chip on their shoulders for a brief period of time. Then they revert back to being pussies.
