How do you deal with the emotional side of losses?

Been a long time since I went about any kind of gambling without a little liquid courage. This trip thus far has been a mental grind.

I put tons of work in brushing up my indices for this single deck game, my count is sharp.

High count after high count is hit with 15's and 16's as the dealer is getting the 20, 21's and blackjacks.

I use to think I had it in me to grind out profits, but not sure I have the patients for it any more.

I know this trip is a very small sample, and it's all about the long run.....but it really makes me think, is it worth it?

A high count with perfect index play still means you are going to lose half the time

When losing starts create emotional responses much more than "O well," I'm going to reconsider doing any gambling at all
