Vespa Scooter-Italy?

Anyone have a Vespa scooter or any kind of scooter?
I have a Vespa LX150 year 2009.
I'm a school teacher and I live right up the road from where I teach so I bought it last summer to save on gas.
Was just wondering if anyone had one out there or have ever rode one before?

Yes I have had a Vespa clear back in the late 50's and they were made in Italy back then I know. They have been around for ever and are very reliable and great on gas of course. Now power and acceleration is quite another story but you already know that. My older brother Don actually owned a Vespa before me and He bought a side car or whatever you want to call it. We went on a fishing trip up the Columbia River gorge heading to a little creek that was full of trout back then called Tanner Creek. Well the side car can unhooked and I went flying down the road in the sidecar now unattached from the Vespa. Of course this was not made for that and the sidecart rolled over. My brother thought He had killed me but you know how hard it is to hurt a kid when He's 15 years old. I was pretty shook up and lots of skin missing but all my bones were in one piece. Of course We will never know what happened to my brain cells I guess. Anyway We loved our Vespas back then. Now I want far more power and speed however.
