Wifee and myself liked it very much non stop action leaves you wanting more looks like there will be a part 2..

I would recommend the movie ... If you like alien's and marine fighting

I was hoping it was good.

It looks like it has gotten pretty good reviews.

Are the special effects worth seeing it in a theater instead of waiting for it on DVD.

Saw it on saturday. Very intense movie, almost pissed on myself trying to avoid going to the bathroom. Did not want to miss those aliens getting their ass kicked........

even though it has to be one of the stupidiest sci-fi movies ever conceived (and on top of that totally US self-centered "we always save the World" kind of thing)............the score of the movie is great music and the special effects are very very good also

Just wasn't what I was expecting.

There's another thread somewhere in which another poster here said that they were afraid that they showed all of the main good parts in the previews, like they did the movie 2012.

I think they were pretty much dead on.

Overall, it was more military action than alien in my opinion.

I thought there would be battles in the air from out jets vs their ships/ufo's, and more things like that, but there were basically none and it was pretty much just us fighting them on the ground with gunfire...

+1 it was almost as bad as the expendables
