There are very few things in this world that bother me but Rafferty is one of them. He is so bad I just can't explain how much he grates on my nerves. From the time I see his annoying face on TV to the first time he says "and the kiss!" I simply cannot take it. I always end up muting it.
Same with the duo in college football of those 2 guys I forget their names but one is about 80 years old and weighs about 300 pounds at 5-5 I think. I swear I think he is watching another game on TV and just for fun he announces that game instead of the one he is supposed to. I cannot fathom how many mistakes he makes a game. Mistakes that are so blatantly wrong. His partner is almost as bad. I think they do afternoon CBS college football games. Combined they make about 30-50 horribly wrong calls a game. Just one that comes to mind is that he called the ball intercepted and the guy was running the other way with nobody back to stop him! What really happened was a blown coverage and a WR got wide open in the endzone so there was just a 40 yard lob for a TD. No defensive player around him within 20 yards. How do you miss that and then think it was intercepted when nobody is running the other way? I mute them too usually unless we have people over.
And these announcers need to get a bit more technical with their announcing. I don't want to hear 20 times that Isaiah Thomas' dad just watched the good play he made because he is there in the stands watching his son.
