That chicken from the store just doesn't compare to popeyes. Also-at some popeyes in md at least-mon-wed you can a 2 piece dinner for 3.49 and add a large drink for 50 more cents to make it 3.99

it is good....and during this promo you're gonna pay 4.54 at the store, and in order to save .45 cents you'll use all your oil, electricity, time and mess to make the chicken....and i doubt many of us could make it better....our grandmas could, and maybe mom, but not us...

I am one hell of a cook, but have never mastered really good fried chicken, and with all the mess, it just isnt worth it....popeyes is solid, as is grandy's...

I've missed Grandys since they went under in my town. Those double chicken fried steak dinners were the best. I also likes my Popeys. You can't grow good tastin' greasy chicken like that in no backyard coop!
