yeah, i ain't done it but a few times on shows i wasn't able to make.

but there is people who make a living by buying tickets to popular shows, concerts, sporting events etc., and then putting them on ebay or places like stubhub and marking them up.

I got a really good deal on a habs game , ended up buying 8 tickets and there was only 4 of us. Put them on Ebay for buy it now for twice what I paid ea , sold with in a day and I mailed them out the next. Was almost to easy.

The hard part is getting the tickets in the first place for a price where you can make enough to make it worth your time.

a very easy way to make money, but you have to know your markets or you will get burned.

an artist performing in one location ticket may be impossible to come by but in other regions you couldn't give the tickets away

this is a great article about secondary market ticket sales. Stay at home mother decided to start doing it and made 100k her first year

Used to do it a lot. Made some good money. It's just so hard now unless you have a lot of people buying the tickets the second they are released. You might be able to get 2 to 4 good tickets but that's about it for popular shows

Good. Nothing pisses me off more than bloodsuckers snapping up all of the tickets to a concert just to re-sell them for 4x as much to real fans who couldn't get through to ticketbastard. Sadly it still happens.

Cubs tickets immediately come to mind here.

Must be to Leafs or Habs games lol.

Some teams better than others(Leafs, Flyers, Wings)......... only do 10 games a year.

For 30-50 hours of work, the pay is decent..........but its definetly tough work, not something I really enjoy doing.

It's a grind

are u only looking into sports tickets

concerts are good, freind on mine dose it all the time, however he only does them on the big concerts, ie...brittney spear, dave matthews band, and stuff like that, he makes good coin on it, its a grind however and have to have a bank roll to buy like 30-40 tickets up front....good return though, and have to pick the big headliners for the concerts....his favorite is dave matthews.....they have a loyal fan base who spend all kinds of money to go to their concerts

A friend of mine used to make his living by reselling Super Bowl tickets. He would actually start selling the tickets before they were even distributed to the season ticket holders. He really got burnt one year when the ticket prices went through the roof. He promised them at one price and then he couldn't buy them at a lower price and the ticket prices kept on climbing. He got KILLED that year.

Bought 10 James Taylor tickets for $85 each sold 8 for $250 each on Craigslist. He's playing at a 2,000 seat venue here in Buffalo and it was an extremely hard ticket to get. These were all premium seats.
