St. Louis +100 (.5 units to win .5 units)

I like the setup for the Cards today. Lohse (1.50 ERA) goes and has been really sharp this spring, I don't trust the guy to stay healthy but while he is I will back him if the situation and price is right. I expect Salas, Tallet, Motte and maybe Franklin to get work today. Motte has been awful this spring and he is the only concern I have for them on the pitching side. Salas (0.00), Tallet (1.17) and Franklin (0.90) have had great spring's.

They have done well against Gorzellany, recently especially and the bats seem to be producing well enough to get Lohse some support here. I think even money is worth a shot and I will play it for 1/2 unit. Good luck everyone.

Opening day

Well were almost there. Just a couple things to mention, I put up the numbers that I am getting and I realize there will be better numbers out there but I am documenting my plays exactly. 2 units is my standard play. Some days I will do a writeup, others I will not, but I will try and answer any questions and help in any way I can. Enjoy the season everyone.

My first large wager of the season goes against the Rays offense. They have went 1-1-1-1-3-1 in runs scored to start the year. Now they travel to Chicago to face a guy with a grudge, well at least he pitches like it. Edwin Jackson has faced them twice since he left town and given up 3 ER in 17 IP. Jackson has the skills and I think he will pitch very well against his old team once again. The Rays are .130 against RHP so far this year and on their first road trip against Jackson I don't see them getting 5 runs today.
