Anyone else think that this movie was highly overrated?? I found it to be extremely boring. I did think Justin Timberlake did an outstanding job though.

Overrated but there were some good parts. I thought that main character played a good role though

I predict it will end up being one of the most watched movies on cable for many years to come.

i had similar feelings as you harrington - JT was really solid, but the film itself left a lot to be desired.

Great film. Terrific cast, unbelievable script, perfect directing. David Fincher is no slouch.

I am interested in the ages of people that didn't like it. My guess is the majority will be "older."

It's certainly not a movie for everyone and I do expect a lot of college kids to hate it too. I phrased that kind of crappy, making it seem like I only think 50 year olds will hate it.

But it didn't really win anything monstrous at the Oscars. Aaron Sorkin DEFINITELY deserved best adapted screenplay, top 3 writer in Hollywood, bar none. Then The Social Network won Best Music and Best Editing. Awards only die-hards care about.

King's Speech was definitely the better movie but it was a lock for Best Picture, anyway. It was perfect Oscar bait.

Also, overall, 2010 was a bit of a weak year. Inception was good but the more I watch it and read about it, the less I like it.

Winter's Bone was the Picture of the Year for me.

I'm of the "older" group and I liked it quite a bit. I thought it was a dead heat between Social Network and King's Speech for best movie of the year. But I think over time the Social Network will hold up much better than The King's Speech because of it's subject matter. Facebook is getting bigger and bigger by the day. Twenty years from now people will watch the Social Network and say "so this is how it all started."

I liked the movie, but - it convinced me never to go on Facebook. After watching the movie - I don't trust any of these guys to even attempt to keep anything secure unless absolutely forced to.
