Well fellas, it's that time of year again.
30 teams, 2,430 games, and enough stats to make you sick.
*MLB OPENING DAY*
Looking to start the season off right with a winner or two.
My plays range from 1 to 3 Units. In every case, any game with chalk the bet is to win said amount of units. When betting under dogs, the bet is to risk said amount of units.
Right now my lean is:
Detroit Tigers +135
Verlander has been absolutely killing it all Spring. He's pitched 28 innings (3rd in the league in MLB Spring), and boasts an ERA of 0.96. CC on the other hand has only pitched 16 innings. His ERA isn't bad at 3.31, however Sabathia has historically had a tough time with opening day starts (Last year: 5.1 IP, 6 H, 5 ER, 2 BB and 2009: 4.1 IP, 8 H, 6 ER, 5 BB). The public is pounding the Yankees, so I will likely let that move the line some more before I lock this bad boy in. I see great value in this play.
May make another play, more research in the morning.
