After a successful basketball/hockey "offseason" it's baseball time! Hopefully I can get off to a hot start and people get on board because baseball was my bread and butter last year! Good luck to all who play along!
Atlanta Braves RL (-1.5) vs Washington Nationals
- Derek Lowe 2-0 as Braves' opening day starter, this is the better team with the better pitcher. I don't trust Livan Hernandez to repeat last year's success.
New York Yankees RL (-1.5) vs Detroit Tigers
- I know Verlander had a great spring, but so did ARod. Sabathia 20-1 as a home starter in last 21 decisions. Verlander went 2-6 in his last eight road decisions to end last year, and is notorious for not being nearly the same pitcher on the road as at home. Bad weather game, ill take the Bronx Bombers.
