Thanks :toast:

Nice Job Horns & thanks for the compliment in the other thread...I had same two plays, but also took both 1/2 unit ML's too...Nice call on your two innings left post in Phils game!! I almost commented the SAME exact thing! Freaking Lyon stinks...Too many people ONLY cap the starting pitcher & start counting or conceding their $$ after six innings..They overlook the bullpens from 7th inning on where wagers are won & lost in many instances..IMO two teams people are high on -- Phils & Brewers - the pens will be Achilles of both this season. I think Braves edge out Phils in tight race cause of better pen...I'm a former player as well as coach & it's nice to talk with someone who understands the beauty of the game. While Phils win today, the fact that so many people simply took Halladay at -255 is mind-boggling...What many fail to keep in mind is Halladay LOST 10 times last year including once vs Astros, who beat Phils all three times at Citizens Bank Park. Halladay, as good as he's been, has been tagged with a LOSS 86 times overall in his career. Brett Myers has pitched well in Citizens Bank Park in past including a 3-2 win last year as member of Astros.. It was ALSO Opening Day for Astros who are major league players & Myers was pumped to face former team....Phils had NO Utley, Werth is gone & Dominic Brown - his replacement - was out of their lineup today too. The Astros had shot to win & "could" have IF not for Lyon... I don't use "should" because there are 27 outs & closer is part of game..That's why the +1.5 runs were solid plays for capping purposes.. I just rolled dice one of two won outright to make few extra $$....Love talking baseball if you ever want to...Good luck rest of season!!

I agree

Granted, Halladay is one of the best there is in the bigs right now, but Myers is no chump either. I thought the line was set far too high, and I expect we will see that throughout the season considering Philly's rotation. One thing to remember is that those starters aren't all going to pitch in the same game (except for post season situations), and their bullpen is not that good. Get past the starter and hang in there, then there will be a chance with that bullpen, especially if they aren't producing on offense. I wouldn't be surprised if Houston takes one of the next two, and they will both be big chalk games.

Good luck with your plays :toast:
