I'd like to see the first Dodgers game before getting down on Friday's..

I am definitely leaning to the under 7 though.. Although I hate betting unders such early in the season.. No major opinion on the Dodgers.

No opinion on the Red Sox/Rangers game on 4/1.

Two good pitchers, both with outstanding bats.

Leaving this one alone.

Too many left handed batter for the Soxs.. Wilson @ home vs Red Sox who have best lineup in bases.. Kind of a wash to me.. At first I liked Boston but I'm now too sure..'

Thanks for your thoughts horns..

Gyno,Going to be about 40 degrees here on Friday afternoon and chilly - Call me crazy but I like the over 8 runs in the game but wouldn't play a side here but if a had to take one maybe Carmona if you can get some plus money on him.

No guarantee that the Cubs are going to play but I'm sure they're going to do everything they can to get the opener in. I'm hearing sleet in the morning and rain in the afternoon. They haven't put a total up yet (waiting to hear about the wind) but I'm sure it will be low. Maybe 7.5. I'm not touching this game. Demp at home is a good bet but it's a high price tag for a game where the weather could play a big role. The Pirates were very good against the Cubs last year and won several games as sizable underdogs. Take that for what its worth. I'm not putting any stock into that. New season. No play for me.

Phillies will beat the 'Stros at home. No way Myers DOESN'T regress. The 250+ juice though, obvious stay away. And can't recommend the run line with our bullpen issues and possible problem if our offense starts off slow.

That said, Phillies money line will hit but not worth the risk.

Hey gyno, the under of this dodgers/giants game has gotta be the play again right? Both pitchers had really good springs in terms of Whip and AVG against. Both offenses might struggle to start the year. You pulling the trigger?

No prob

FYI: Rangers bullpen has not looked that good this preseason. Oliver and O'Day got manhandled a couple of times. Feliz has looked good though. Bullpens could be an advantage for Boston. Also, if my memory serves me correct Rangers didn't hit lefties that well last year. Could be a different story this year.

Still no play for me

Lester historically has been a slow starter...Ortiz is getting the start even against a lefty he is like 1 for 10 against....No JD Drew, Cameron is starting. Even after all that. I like the Red Sox for a small play (.5 unit for me). GL ALL

A's correspondent its not me its u:

Opening game 4/1/11:

Sea/Oak UNDER 6.5: 2 aces (Felix Hernandez/Trevor Cahill) in a pitchers park, night game with heavier air and A's bats notorious for not seeing the ball well at nite, take the UNDER. also, the Mariners have not done well in oakland, so lay some on the improved A's offense for the win in a low scoring game.
