Pitchers: Pelfrey/Johnson

Mike Pelfrey is struggling a bit in the spring but Josh Johnson's velocity is down and he's not at 100%. Neither offense is a huge run producer and I like the value here.

White Sox/Indians Under 8.5 -120
Pitchers: Buehrle/Carmona

Buehrle has had a nice spring and Cleveland's offense is extremely weak this season. Carmona is fresh off a dominating spring performance and the White Sox couldn't hit him last season. Playing an under in a Carmona game is always a little scary because he has random horrible games, but I think both teams struggle to score here.

Toronto Blue Jays -120
Pitchers: Pavano/Romero

Romero has struggled in spring but much of his issues were due to a strained finger that is supposed to be healed now. He pitched well against the Twins last season and I think Minnesota is going to struggle to score runs this year. Pavano had a nice spring but he's struggled to get outs in Toronto historically. The Blue Jays have a superior offense and should be able to get the home win at a low price.

Oakland Athletics +110
Pitchers: Cahill/Felix

The Mariners don't have anyone that can hit the ball outside of Ichiro and I just don't see them scoring runs against a pitcher as good as Cahill. Hernandez is a stud too but his spring makes me think he's still not going at full strength. Look for the A's to win a low-scoring game. I didn't want to play the under 7 at -125 because I want to see Felix pitch a couple times to see where he is at before I lay that juice.

goodluck on none of these with you today ...mets are a terrible terrible team and they have no bullpen, literally no one except for krod ..if pelf goes 6 innings (which is usual the first start of the season) there is no way they get the ball to krod with a lead

Johnson's current lack of velocity should be enough to make the +168 a long term winner. Hopefully it hits today. If worst comes to worst, K-Rod will just go after the fathers of the opposing team.

Nice work by Carmona today. I knew the risks of it happening so maybe I'm the idiot.
