Pitchers: Lannan/Hanson
Lannan is an upper tier pitcher when healthy and he's coming off a fine spring start that makes me think he has it all together. Hanson is a talented youngster but is due for a bit of a regression this season. Nats are at home and I like the price.

St. Louis Cardinals -120
Pitchers: Richard/Westbrook
Richard got hit hard last time he came to St. Louis while Westbrook dominated the Padres last season. Richard has had a horrible spring while Westbrook has been solid with great command. Cardinals lost a somewhat fluky game in the opener but should be able to get the home win today, even without Holliday in the lineup.

Correction, burnett was crap last season for the last 3 months and that was without a pitching coach for those 3 months, when his pitching coach came back he did well in the playoffs... burnett last year at the ASB had a 2.20 ERA...this spring burnett hasnt walked a single batter, mechanics totally changed spent the winter with larry roch his new coach.....and burnett had a cold last week he said yesterday he is fine and good to go and with no effects.........also penny has been horrid against the yankees in his career and a righty on the mound facing this lineup that is lefty heavy, not fun....but the value is good at +170 so i dont think its a bad bet at value almost 2-1.. lay 100 to get 170 is still worth it ...goodluck jake
Youre right he is very inconsistent...if this game was in detroit and verlander or scherzer on the mound id back detroit too, but first weekend game in the bronx, gorgeous day, bad pitcher on the hill for the tigers, that is why the line is +170..but again i dont want to be disrespectful i just thought youd like some yankee home input! goodluck

Pitchers: Tillman/Shields
Tillman had a nice spring and Tampa's offense is going to have issues scoring runs this season. Shields was bad last season but I've been predicting an improvement and he should start out with a solid performance against the Orioles. The bullpens scare me a little bit but the number and vig require a play in this pitcher's park.

Hudson finished the year strong last season and has looked good in spring ball. De La Rosa is a good pitcher but his spring starts looked like he wasn't quite ready for opening day and it might take him a few starts to get going. The odds are right for a play on the road underdog.

i watch this team so closely and know the opposing pitchers, im a wacko i study the opposing pitchers splits against the yankees players and know how they see him and how they will fare... burnett pitched well except that one inning, penny got knocked around.... hope to see ya do well in the future jake, anytime you need a yankees game question feel free to PM me..thanks bro
