1st Play: SF Giants @ SD Padres
Line: SF -128
Sean's Take: Madison Bumgarner had a great rookie campaign last year and a solid spring. He'll be going against the Padres 12 million dollar a year Aaron Harang, aquired by Cincinnati. Harang had a Spring training to forget, going 2-2 with an ERA over 6. Mark DeRosa (5-17), Pat Burrell (5-13), Mike Fontenot (7-20), Buster Posey (2-3) and Nate Schierholtz (2-6) all have good numbers against Harang. I look for the World Champion Giants to rebound after going 1-3 in their opening 4 game set against the Dodgers with a W here today.
Pick: Giants -128

2nd Play: LA Angels @ TB Rays
Line: Even money
Sean's Take: Jeff Weaver vs Jeff Niemann. The Angels lost their last 3 games in a row, all due to the bullpen blowing it in the 9th inning. I'm sure Mike Scoscia is gonna tinker and make adjustments where he needs to to put this team in a situation to win games. Without Evan Longoria, Carl Crawford, Carlos Pena this Rays lineup looks offensively challenged. Jeff Niemann, decent pitcher, but he seldom makes it past the 6th inning and I highly doubt he's gonna throw 6 scoreless.
Pick: LA Angels -105
