Great news, as it puts to rest speculation that the surgery would end up being disclosed as microfracture in nature down the road. Jones-Drew wasn't supposed to run until May, but he's already able to do so in early April. The quick recovery suggests the "bone-on-bone" condition late in the season may have been exaggerated. We're still hesitant to target Jones-Drew early in redraft leagues, but Dynasty and keeper leaguers can now tap the breaks on panic trades.
