Tigers are playing right now, then after the game they will have to travel back home to Detroit to play the Royals in a day game.

What do you think? Bad spot, or does it not matter?

I would say it would depend on how tonight goes, if it is a long game or they lose it may effect them more. Its also their home opener I believe, so if they come in with a win and the home opener that may build their momentum. I just dont know if baseball is effected as much by travel as other sports.

They have been on road since Spring training.. Game is still going on.. long game so they take off at midnite .. say they get in at 2am. Then travel to their residences. So some might not get in until 2:30-3am . I hink its an excellant spot for a KC win. orioles are also get into Detroits bullpen too tonite

I think as the season goes on players get use to this away and home day games. But I think the first week on the road is tough because of the emotional start of the season and players trying to get their timing and routines back. Alot of these players probably haven't settled into their new homes in detroit and have not unpacked boxes and bought milk and pop tarts for breakfast and banged their girl friends
