Fishhead...my best friend lives in Maui...I visited him a couple of years ago. things i did and would recommend are

1. Play a round of golf at Kapalua...expensive, but I'm glad i did it
2. Take the road to Hanna its a 30 mile drive that takes 3 hrs because of the one lane bridges, and windy curves. can be a bit scary on the edge of the cliffs, but its an experience. When you get there, you can hike about 45 min to the biggest waterfall on maui. We rented a house for two nights up there, between about 7-8 people it was around $80 a night. I highly recommend doing this trip. Oprah owns a house and land up there as well as many other celebs.
3. Bike down the volcano

If you are interested, i could get you connected to my friend over there and he could prob set you up on some trips

hike into the rain forest inn Kaui, then into the huge canyon up there. Unreal, better then Grand Canyon IMO. Taylor mentioned Hana, If you easily get car sick, don't do it, the curves can make you want to stop the car. The end play is great with the 7 pools of Hanna. snorkeling at Hanuma bay on Ohau is also a fantastic way to spend a day

On Oahu....went skydiving on the North Shore, read it was one of the top jumps in the world bcause the scenery is unbelievable, if u dont get pics or DVDs I thought it was a good price of $150......tip: tell them u dont want the pics or DVDs, so your kind of waiting around for the shuttle, they ll approach u again just bfore leaving at a much better price, what the heck are they going to do with your pics or dvd anyway.

Did this tour last year, it might be the best tour I've done in any city because we were able to see everything in one day and at the time we paid under $100 with taxes per person. We would have liked to spend more time at the Cultural Center but other than that we thoroughly enjoyed it. Have a great time!! Then again maybe Im biased cause the driver was a hardcore gambler and sportsbettor!!
