They aren't going anywhere.
They just don't have the pieces.
They apparently ended up doing the right thing ridding themselves of Rashard Lewis who looks to have some health issues, and a quickly declining Vince Carter, but are now stuck with Gilbert Arenas who doesn't seem like he'll ever be the same either.
Year-long injuries to JJ Redick and Brandon Bass have hurt as well.
Jason Richardson has played well though.
Hopefully the can find a way to land a nice free agent, preferably Deron Williams if he chooses not to stay in New Jersey after this season.
By the way Dwight Howard is the REAL mvp.
This team would have a losing record without him.
Look for them to possibly get eaten up underneath tomorrow with Ryan Anderson replacing Howard in the lineup due to his suspension....

They won't perform well tomorrow because Dwight will be out and they're nothing without him, but they don't care about tomorrow.
If JJ and Bass can get healthy by the playoffs they will be very tough, Hache, don't underestimate our guys. They've been saying for several weeks now they're just looking forward to getting to the playoffs healthy, I don't think we've seen them play their best yet.
Noah can't guard Dwight, and he won't come playoff time.
Unfortunately the playoffs will all come down to officiating though. If the refs call the game fairly and don't unfairly call Dwight for fouls when he jumps straight up and they do call the opposing team for fouls when Dwight gets hammered at by guards doubling down then the Magic are as good as any team in the league because of Dwight's athleticism. If the refs treat him differently than any player in the league like they used to occasionally with Shaq, then the Magic won't do well.

No, I'm simply stating the facts. Howard gets officiated differently, and when refs fuck up and call him for physical non-fouls and don't protect him when he gets fouled because he's so strong that he still moves through the hack, the Magic are negatively affected.
If you don't recognize that just leave the thread douchebag.
Howard already averages 3 more FT's per game than any other play in the league. And he's only 9th in fouls per game and has only fouled out 5 times. Maybe if he didn't act like such a clown he'd get even more calls than he already does. And then maybe if he didn't miss 5 FT's every game he might help his team win more close games.
