SAN DIEGO
A San Diego peewee league football coach was arrested Saturday after he was accused of attacking parent during a game.
Police said youth coach Saivaauli Savaiinea, 32, punched and kicked Mark Cannon, 32, during an argument at a playing field in Lincoln Park, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Cannon tripped and fell, and was knocked unconscious when he hit his head on the ground. He was taken to hospital but his condition was not immediately known.
Cops called to the scene detained Savaiinea on suspicion of felony battery, Officer David Stafford told the San Diego Union-Tribune.
