Hockey is severely underrated in the US. Other than Boise State football, there isn't a single local sporting event that I enjoy more than watching the Idaho Steelheads play.

I picked the Islanders when I was little but I don't really have a favorite. I also used to root for whoever Bertuzzi was playing for but I root against the Red Wings so I've just been a casual observer the last few years.

For me ever since the Minnesota North Stars left MN I never got back into the NHL. Yesterday's college hockey championship was fun to watch. NHL nationwide hasn't caught on as it's fun to watch live in person but not great to watch on tv.

nhl probably has the best playoffs. nothing like playoff hockey live and in person. cant wait for the bruins, but surely they will choke in the playoffs as always.

Love to watch hockey, playoffs or not. Refs usually don't impact the games, hockey has a fast pace, and NHL has the best replay system in sports.

March Madness? Whats that? Anyone who's not into Hockey I highly suggest you go to a playoff game if you can, you will be hooked. Hockey in HD ain't bad either

NHL playoffs are incredibly great.

I love the NHL and the playoffs, but I wish the regular season was a little shorter, and the Cup would be awarded by May 1.
