Should we continue to bet against the Rays or will they start winning games soon?

Schedule not getting that much easier:

Red Sox on road
Twins and White Sox @ home
Blue Jays, Twins on road
Angles Blue Jays @ home
Balti, Clev on road
Balty Yanks @ home

Yes, this team is not the same team that won the east last year.

As a bigtime Rays fan (and therefore I rarely play their games/follow their lines), I find the team completely unpredictable. Starting pitching mostly good, bullpen a bunch of misfits that have been surprisingly solid so far, some meltdowns likely to come. Not a lot of dependable hitting in lineup. I certainly don't see many scenarios in which the Rays should ever be big faves, so if they ever are, probably worth fading. Just my two cents.

Rays a bit into the plus money if you bet them all year to date

Best "fade" in MLB outside of the CCubs and Oakland would be the Skankees with AJ Burnett

Bronx Bummers are 11-25 in his past year of starts

but look what he did so far in the major.... 1-0 with ERA of over 4.24 10K's and 8 BB's in 17IP... doesn't look terrible but doesn't look that good either...

This year is pretty much just as juicy, with AJ starts being just 4-6 in past ten for a healthy +537 to those who Fade

Give his first start a modest Pass as Rays staff realized that he was inadvertantly tipping his pitches to Angels and they got loose on him in 4th and 5th inning. Next two starts have been pretty solid....12.2 IP and just 4 ER
