Did you Ever Sell, Pawn or Give something else to Pay off a Gambling debt ?

I never did.... ( just made a payment plan ) But a Friend of mine give his Bookie a Solid Gold Watch to pay-off his gambling debt.

Any others ?

had a friend who collected for bookie.....I few times I remember he would have to grab TVs, XBoxs, etc. funny cause the bookie would ask if he wanted the stuff he collected as payment for grabbing the stuff.....and he took the xbox

Never had to pawn anything. But when I first started gambling I was 18, got hooked up with some gambling guys that were way over my head at the time at the golf course I worked at. I signed at least 3 of my paychecks over to those guys. Good to learn when I was young and making small bets though. I've learned my lessons on chasing real quick. Now, I very rarely win big, but I also very rarely lose big

The only thing that kept me from ever doing that was how much I hate to lose. I know I have a tendency to getting addicted to everything and I love the rush of gambling, but I could always cut myself off (sports), now being drunk in a casino with credit cards is another story.....

Way back when, I hocked my wifes diamond engagement ring. Took a while to get it back. Turned out the Beverly Hills pawnbroker I pawned it to got killed as well as his son when an oriental woman wanted back her pawn when her family was coming to town. Shot both of them dead.
