Sunday. Pirates-Reds.

I am thinking about coming HUGE on the Reds tomorrow. I would like someone to talk me out of it, no "anything can happen" bullshit, real reasons.

* The series is split 1-1, so far. Winner takes the series.
* Pirates are 5-3 on the road. 2010 the were 17-64.
* Pirates 8-21 last 29 vs. Reds.

Any insite either way would be appreciated. Thanks.

yeah im not saying dont pla it... but please dont use stats over the past 2-3 years, new teams, new coaching etc etc

put it this way, volquez is not good, but he can be dominant if he got his control down

karstens is garbage i saw him many years w the yanks and in the minor at SWB he is a scrub... i wouldnt put a penny on the pirates

the only relevant fact I see in those stats is.... Pitt 5-3 on the road.

What has Volquez done this year that deems him so expensive.........i'll wait.

Thanks for the replys, past stats do show trends for teams and games. Check the Pirates last few seasons, how many road wins do they have, road winning percentage? regardless of players and coaches. The 8-21 at the Reds stat wasn't over one season was it? Anyway, good luck.

The Pirates will fold, they always do. Yea, new team, new coaches. Been hearing that for 18 years now. They are 6-8 this year, were 7-7 at this point last year.
