BOSTON...the big "patriots day" game. usually the sox love this day but obviously this is a totally unpredictable team right now. romero has been pitching great this year and his control( which was his dagger) has been a lot better( only walking 1 per 5 inn avg.) the sox do have great numbers against him, but he has certainly matured over the last 2 yrs. noe theres dice-k who basically threw batting practice last week. i dont know if having tek behind the plate can help him or not( dont think it can hurt). regardless, i dont see him completely shutting any team down. if the sox are to win this game, they probably will have to score a bunch of runs, so to be safe, im throwing a small bet on the over....gl!!

thats not a typo? JD drew leading off against a tough lefty? just checked the stats he is 9 for 20 in his career against Romero with a .560 OBP. Romero is 2-4, 7.42 in nine career starts against the Sox.

no typo.. drew doesnt swing half the time and romero used to be a walk machine.. i say used to be because up to now, this year he has cut his walks down dramatically.. i was going to post previous stats but that would make one consider betting the sox, and with dice k on mound, i wouldnt!!

Texas is finally back home after a long road trip. Meanwhile, the Angels are in the middle of a road trip.

CJ Wilson has pitched really well against the Angels dating to May of last year. He had one bad outting against them in the first game of the season, but besides that game he had a 1.87 era against them (last four games vs LAA = 5/2, 6/1, 8/0, 5.2/2).

Santana had a 3.34 era vs. Texas last year which isn't bad, but his era at the ballpark in Arlington was 4.42. I see Santana having trouble against Texas offense at home.

BIG play on the Rangers for me tonight

RANGERS -140

Betting the Dodgers today.. Got +122 last night, I see the line is lower..

Again Lily is a flyball pitcher, his style suits night home games well. Braves had to travel cross country. Hudson is a ground ball pitcher style doesnt suite Dodger stadium well...

Dodgers bats are still cold but I feel this game has value.

Love Detroit at -108 tomorrow vs the Mariners. Mariners just can't hit the ball and unless Felix or Pineda are pitching fading the Mariners will rake you in a lot of cash.

I like the Nationals at +140 tonight. Lannan has always been really tough on them year in year out. Westbrook is getting closer to where he was, but I think this game is up for grabs and +140 is value.

I also took a smaller play on U 8.5 at +100, I think this could be a 4-3, 4-2, 3-2 type game.

BOSTON... the team appears to be getting their shit together just in time for a trip to the west coast.. anderson has pitched quite well, but i think the sox are now showing they can hit. lackey hasnt shown me anything, and until he does, i cant bet on him against anyone. i know oakland has a huge field, so not as many home runs, but with a good hitting team there is a lot of room for more singles doubles and triples. therefore, i think the 7.5 is way too low for a good hitting boston team who is starting a pitcher who has yet to prove anything. love the over here. gl!!

Yeah I'm scratching my head at this Boston total. Over 7.5 even money. I guess they are expecting Lackey to pitch a gem. He has good numbers against this weak hitting Oakland team. I'm seeing a low scoring game here, not sure why. I also think the better side in this battle is Boston. They lost 6 in a row to start the season but I think they can win 6 in a row just as easy. Not touching the total but will play the Sox. Better team at a dog price in a park Lackey has pitched well in. GL ALL

Pirates scored 9 yesterday, but I think Josh Johnson keeps them at bay today. Leaning under 7 today, 4-1 Florida.
