Finally got back into bases yesterday. Not the result I wanted going 1-3 dropping 2.43 units. Finally have plenty of time to cap….at least for the next two months, so hopefully the winners will start coming soon. Here is what I got for Monday.
Phillies -120 vs. Milwaukee………..Everybody thinks Blanton sucks, but that is because he is compared to the other starters. There were plenty of teams who were interested in Blanton before the season started. I think Blanton shows what he is made of tonight. Too many people on the BrewCrew tonight. Not me.
San Diego +128 vs. Cubs………….Record wise the Cubs pitcher has the advantage, but not really. Cubs cannot be trusted as a favorite. Live doggie.
Minnesota -101 vs. Baltimore………….O’s after a hot start showing what they are really made of. Sure they could win, but I will not pass up the Twins at this price vs. a cold Baltimore team.
White Sox +106 vs. Tampa Bay……cannot ignore history of these pitchers vs. opposing teams.
Cincinnati -1.5 (+125) vs. Pittsburgh…………runline will not come into play. Either Reds blow them out or Bucs win outright. I don’t think it will be close. Reds bats explode tonight.
