Thinking about Playing Poker at Bodog

One of the few sites left that takes US players.

Any advice/comments?

i just had them close my account, and i swore by them for a long time.....it's part of the whole "is poker rigged" thing so let me not waste your time by blaming poor play on it being rigged.....

i did sit at a seat one night and had the STRONG suspicion that there was collusion going on and i reported it (first time i've ever reported it) and they did not seem to take it very serious, so combined with what i'm almost certain was collusion going on + a 2 day run of shit that went against me, i pulled the plug.....

here's another thing: see how well the breaks go your way at the table when you're on a nice sports run.....it's almost glaringly obvious that they were trying to keep me within a certain balance range until i made the inevitable donk move of going on tilt.....

plus that new debit card payout option turned out to be a bunch of shit, after getting the card and 3 weeks of waiting for the funds to be made available, they finally canceled the card and returned the money to my account, which i graciously turned around and lost

Yeah, I was averaging about an hour a day, and was making consistent money on PokerStars.

To go from that to nothing... sucks.

I bet traffic is way up.

They have sent me free tickets to the Sunday 100K 3 times worth 162 bucks that I have never even had the desire to use.
Thats how little I care about poker these days.

played there off and on, a lot more years ago. never had a problem with them, but wouldnt say its the best either. im sure its one of the better ones available right now.

Yea i know the feeling. I was big into it a few years ago but after going busto i just was too lazy to deposit again. Side note-Daniel Negraneau is struggling like crazy to find games to play in since he can no longer play online. His twitter is just him complaining about the lack of live games, would be funny to see him get on bodog

good luck getting paid ... you have to be really desperate to play poker/sportsbook at bodog ... they used to be a solid book, but went downhill over the years ... beware they aren't an rx sponsor

PPP needs to chime in on this. I'm thinking of trying Cake myself. I played Bodog a few years ago. Didn't think the bad beats were any worse than PS.

I play at Bodog regularly as well as SIA which is really Cake. Like the tournaments at both sites.

I got paid $850 from Bodog a few weeks ago. took the check 3 days. Mind you that was a few weeks ago before all of this poker shit went down. Not defending Bodog because they are a shitty book unless you like soccer. They circle WAAAAY too many games

took out 900 after a super bowl future cashed, check took 5 days. Friend hit jackpot on penny slot for 3,000+...made him jump through some hoops but got paid in about 2 weeks.
