If my numbers are right , I have 1st inning run scored looking like this

AL
Yes 46
No 64
.418 %

NL
Yes 75
No 51
.595 %

Are the pitchers in the NL that much worse than the AL ?

Or are the first 4 hitters on NL rosters hitting that much better than AL rosters ?

Do you have a web site that details runs scored in the 1st inning, yes or no, for the league?

Would appreciate it if you would share. Too tedious and time consuming to do it by hand. I tried MLB.com and they have a ton of stats but couldn't find that one.

Thanks.

One AL stat I do know is that the Mariners have scored in the first inning only once this season so far.

Right but the Mariners also have one of the weakest offensive teams in the league. I've been looking at them to play the "no" as long as the opponent isn't prolific in early runs.

The yes/no first inning play is one that I look towards every day (not just Seattle) and watch line movement as well.

seattle and detroit are both 5-12 this year on the " yes "
