Washington Nationals +108
Pitchers: Livan/Karstens

Livan is always capable of giving up 4 or 5 runs over 6 innings, but he's been pitching well and the Pirates are not hitting. Nationals are without Zimmerman but still have a few solid hitters and Karstens was horrible in his opener. Livan might pitch like crap, but I feel that Karstens is a much better bet to give up 4-5 runs over 4-5 innings. Gotta take the underdog.

Rays/Blue Jays Over 8.5 -110
Pitchers: Hellickson/Reyes

Hellickson is good but he's still young and pitching in Toronto will be a tough go for him. Even if he goes 6 innings he's likely to give up 3-4 runs before giving way to an iffy Tampa pen. Reyes has been rocked hard in 2 of his 3 starts this year and he's just not that good of a pitcher. The Rays aren't hitting but they've done decently against lefties this year and Damon is back in there. I think this one is high scoring.

Do you have a breakdown of sides vs. totals?

Nah, unfortunately I do not. I used to track it but didn't feel like doing so this year. Basically what always happens is that unders and underdogs are my most profitable bets. Overs are generally good for some profit. And favorites... I should probably just avoid them.
