BETFAIR customers doubt whether WBA heavyweight champ David Haye has what it takes to strip arch rival Wladimir Klitschko of his WBO and IBF crowns. The Hayemaker is currently the 7-4 underdog to win the much hyped world title unification bout at Hamburg’s Imtech Arena on Saturday 2 July.
Having suffered a torrent of verbal abuse from Haye over the past two years Klitschko looks set to have the last laugh. Odds of 4-7 suggest that the giant Ukrainian will be crowned the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world on the night.
Betfair’s Alex Bake said: “After two years of verbal sparring these two finally get to slug it out. Haye will be bullish about his chances of winning but right now our customers need some convincing.”
Haye v Klitschko – Betfair bet: 4-7 Klitschko, 7-4 Haye, 55-1 the draw
