went to the elton john concert at moeghan sun arena last nite and i must say it has to be one of the best concerts ive ever been to.he played for 3 hours straight without a break and he was unreal.ive been to many many concerts in my day and let me tell you ive never heard such crystal clear instruments like that before,i mean you could hear everything he and the band used as if it was just made that day, amazingly clear.i know he has mucho money so he has the best of equipment, but i believe he takes pride in his music so much that he makes sure everything is in perfect working order.if you have not seen him in concert yet i advise you to go see him ,he's worth the price of admission

He's been putting on great shows for over 30 years now.
Fantastic showman,

Billy Joel is the better piano player, but his shows are bland compared to Elton.

Yep....was rocking for sure in 1980....Here's a remarkably strong video clip considering the age...from Central Park in NYC

elton is not the kind of guy i'd like to have a beer with at the bar, but the guy has had a great musical career,,,,, he has been my favorite since the 70's. i have seen him in concert 7 or 8 times from my first time in '74 to my last time in 2010...... you tube some of his old classic stuff like the inside look of the making of goodbye yellow brick road, stuff like that. :103631605

I've seen EJ in concert probably half a dozen times over the years.

Always puts on a great show.

Last time I saw him it was EJ and Billy Joel on the same stage. Great concert!

He's playing in Quebec city in July , im going to be there since Metallica is playing on the 16th at the same festival. . might check out the old man before hes done touring. He may play for the other team but hes a great musician, I dont have to be a fan of his lifestyle to like his musical talents. Freddy Mercury same boat but I will never get a chance to see him now unfortunately

YUCK ! 2 memories that stick in my mind was watching all the Limos turning around after he cancelled a show in Worcester a half hour before the show cuz he had a lovers quarrel with his boy, and then had a hissy fit and wouldn't play. another great moment in John Eltons cocert hisrory was at Great Woods , where he berated a roadie for a solid minute on stage before flipping the keyboard like a card table in the old west. He is such a tool...talking smack about Sam Kinison on New Years eve, because of his hilarious aids jokes. have a blast tonight rocket man. if he decides to show up and play.

well as expeced he put on a hell of a show to the sold out Ford Center.......early on, it seemed like the sound guys werent really on top of it, the band was a little too loud and it almost seemed like he was having to fight the band to be heard, but about 1/3 of the way into the concert it seemed to get better, and he got into all his well known hits, and from then on, it was amazing...

Crowd was on there feet for most of it, especially during classics like Crocodile Rock, Im Still Standing, Honky Cat, Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word, Candle in the Wind, among others.....he is definitely the ultimate show-man, and he has a great accompanying band...

Was certainly worth getting to say i saw him at least once, he played the HELL out of that piano, it was pretty amazing actually......
