Know someone looking to get a new car. With gas hovering around $4 a gallon and the end to rapid fluctations to be nowhere in sight, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Prius? It is not the most aesthetically pleasing car to look at but with like 40-50mpg and good resale value it might be a decent buy.
I know noone man enough to drive one, there are a few cars out there that I would pick over the prius when looking for gas mileage myself
1. Honda Accord
2. VW Jetta which can get up to 600 miles a tank, at least the diesels get close to 1000km a tank.
3. Hyundai Sonata
4. Ford Fiesta (Im a ford guy)
I do however work with a guy whose wife owns a Toyota Yaris. Toyota's are great , my girlfriend had a 98 carolla which she got over a half million km's on it before it finally bit the dust. And that was only because the body was gone.
