We (8-10 of us) are heading to Nashville for a bachelor party in about 3 weeks. I am looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon. (We have plans for both nights). The original plan was to golf, but now one of the drivers has to take a smaller car and getting 8-10 sets of golf clubs to Nashville is now out of the question. Any suggestions?
Go have a couple brews at Layla's in the afternoon. Beer is good priced and the music is excellent if you enjoy hearing some bluegrass/folk stuff. There might be a band playing called Jypsi. They are really good and a few of them sometimes play some more mellow stuff before the nightlife begins. Nashville is kick-ass, enjoy.
go see "the don kelly band" at roberts western world...great guitar player in jd simo....stacey mitchart is a great blues player in nashville..he likes to drink so he can be a wildcard when it comes to performance..

Go to 2nd Ave/Broadway area. Plenty of establishments. Also "West End" near Vanderbilt campus has grown tremendously over the past few years. Haven't been to a Gentlemen's Club down there in years but Ken's Gold Club used to have a decent rep. If you are religious at all and believe in the "wrath of God", I would avoid one place and I think it is called "Al's" or something. A church hard up for cash actually sold their church/sanctuary to "Al" and he turned it into a strip club....you can't make stuff like that up. I would say someone is going to pay for that one day. Lots of good golf courses in the area. Coolsprings/Brentwood area has some nice restaurants also. If the Predators are still alive in the NHL playoffs you could catch a game but would be a tough ticket and probably unlikely they would still be playing then.
